  • SKULLCANDY EARPHONES

    0

I needed a pair of earphones and spontaneously bought the skullcandy earphone.
This was the best first and last spontaneous decision I have made when it comes to buying cool gadgets.
When I inserted the pair in my ears and pressed play, it was as if there was a live band playing in my living room.
The sound quality is just way too out of this world. I'm able to hear ALL the instruments in a song.
Unlike other ear phones that end up giving you headache or even making the inside of your ears hurt, these ones fit in snugly, and they don’t make you feel like a drummer lost his drum set and decided to use your ear drums instead, plus after you’re done listening to your music, you can carry on doing what you were doing before because your head won’t be pounding in pain.
And no, the headaches aren't caused due to very high volume( that's not good for your ear health, anyway.)
    My opinion:
If you're big on music and getting a live band to perform for you in your living room is not in your budget, then getting a pair of these skullcandy ear phones will do the trick.
They are affordable and a great buy!

    BLACKBERRY BOLD 9700

The “CrackBerry” as many people refer to the BlackBerry is a very popular phone.
It’s the fourth leading smartphone in the world, according to engadget.com.
I have been using the BlackBerry for a few months and, like any other man-made object, it has some good aspects to it as well as bad aspects.

    The good:
Everything’s at the touch of a button.
You can use this smartphone for almost anything.
For starters, you can access your e-mail(s), listen to music, surf-the-net, access your favourite apps all at the same time.
If you’re into instant messaging, the BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is the best friend you’ve been searching for. With this application, you can chat to your friends all the time. This is done by one of your friends inviting you to chat away, using the BBM Pin you gave them. And vice versa.
Another awesome fact about the BlackBerry is that one just pays R60 (South African currency) and have access to the web all day long for just R2 a day.
This, I believe, is extremely reasonable.

    The bad:
When you’re an internet junkie, like I am, then you’ll be disappointed to know that you must search one topic at a time. This can get very tiresome if you use your smartphone to research absolutely everything. One can’t load more than one page at a time.
I’ve only had the BlackBerry for approximately a 12 months and I’m already experiencing problems with the trackball.

    My opinion:
If all you care about is receiving e-mail(s), business calls and if using the BlackBerry browser isn’t your only access to surfing the net, then the BlackBerry Bold is definitely for you.
If you’re a teen, in your early twenties or you rarely have busy days, you’ll probably love using BBM. But if you plan on making Google your best friend, listening to hundreds of hours of music, you’re more of an apps person than an e-mail person or even love watching youtube clips on your phone all day, then you might want to reconsider the choice of phone you would like to buy.

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is more of a business savvy phone than a all-fun-all-play phone.
